Sure, our EMT pants have all the standard pockets and features that you'd expect. They have ten total pockets, including roomy cargo pockets with the signature snapped scissor slots. They are finished with a DuPont Teflon coating to repel blood and other liquids you'll inevitably encounter during your EMT duties. The front pockets? Uncommonly deep, with an internal coin pocket. And the unseen material used to construct the pockets has unrelenting strength to match the rest of the garment.
What puts these EMT trousers ahead of the rest is their construction. Although they're made for use that's heavy duty, the construction is quite elegant. What does that mean in a pair of work pants? First of all, the Poly/Cotton fabric is a rugged 8.5oz twill. That would probably be tough enough, but to squeeze a few extra months out of each pair, they doubled the fabric on the knees for supreme durability. The belt loots are thick and roomy, easily swallowing a 1.75" belt. Inside, you'll find a french zip fly (with a brass YKK zipper) and a double hook and eye closure.
The gripper waistband ensures your shirt stays tucked in for a snappy appearance, and the seat seam is busted. That means it's tough, and gives you the flexibility to take them to a tailor should you require a custom fit. Finally, Propper went the extra mile to tape the seams around the crotch and seat for the look and comfort you might expect from a $100 pair of slacks. |
