Our 27P flight suits are made by Propper, the largest supplier of military uniforms and flight suits to the US Department of Defense. This is the same official flight suit worn by all US air crews. In addition to use for flight, the flame-retardant properties of the Nomex Flight Suit makes it a popular choice for tactical CQC operations. They are warm, comfortable, and provide some level of burn protection. For the technically inclined, the flight suit contains 92% meta aramid, 5% para aramid, and 3% conductive fibers.
These military flight suits are sewn to MIL-SPEC FNS/PD 96-17 (MIL-C-83141A). They include six primary pockets, with a pencil pocket on the left sleeve, and a knife pocket on the left leg inseam. Our flight suits come in the three most popular colors - desert tan, sage green, and black. They are ready for military deployment with a hook and loop patch for your name tape.
