The TAC.U

The TAC.U is a tactical uniform based on the ACU. The core functionality and benefits of the ACU were combined with new features specifically for the needs of tactical operators. The result is supremely functional and durable uniform for SWAT teams and police. Just like the ACU, the TAC.U has rugged double-seat and double-knee construction, along with external Velcro pockets for adding knee and elbow pads. And the popular slash pocket design was also retained for both pants and coat for easy access to your accessories.

What's LE features have been included in the TAC.U? For starters, law enforcement demands an authoritative appearance. That's why the coattail is cut slightly longer for tucking in, and the pants feature a gripper waistband to keep your coat tucked in during tactical maneuvers. It's offered in 5 professional colors - LAPD Navy, Black, Khaki, Olive and Brown.

The coat's mandarin collar can be worn up or down, perfectly suited for use with or without a vest. The sleeve pockets are accessible while wearing your body armor or tactical vest. The sleeve pockets also feature hook and loop patches to affix your department's insignia. Large heavy-duty belt loops are designed to accommodate a larger duty belt. Finally, the ACU's button fly has been replaced with a YYK zipper fly and double snap closure.
